I was never a big fan of primers till I discovered L’OREAL Paris Studio Secrets Professional Smoothing Resurfacing Primer.
Since I have started using primer I have become a big fan, not that it makes my makeup go better but also because it is a great barrier between my skin and the makeup applied.
I was checking for new nailpolish when I saw the Colorbar Perfect Match Primer and I just bought it.
Colorbar says – This satiny touch oil-free primer masks fine lines and uneven texture, making skin marvellously soft and smooth.
Dab on a little all over face for smooth surface or use before foundation for perfect complexion and lasting effect.
Cyclopentasiloxane, dimethicone crosspolymer, tocopheryl acetate, isododecane, neopentyl glycol diheptanoate, propyl paraben.
Rs. 750 for 30 ml
Sometimes a few products become so much a part of your life that you start taking it for granted. I did the same with this product as well. I did not realize that I did not mention this on my blog.
I have been using this primer nonstop for a few months now. It’s a great product that really needs a standing ovation.
This primer comes in an inverted, sleek white bottle with a nozzle. The packaging is quite attractive, light weight and perfect for travel purposes.
The primer is a transparent gel which gets absorbed in the skin like a dream. It takes a few seconds to realize the difference it makes to the skin. After a few seconds, it smoothens out the skin and blurs the fine lines. I also felt that it reduces redness a little bit. It doesn’t really make any difference to my acne spots.
I use it after a few minutes of applying moisturizer, a fine layer across my face, concentrating on my t-zone as that’s where I get maximum oily. It gives freshness to the face in just a few seconds. I have applied it beneath my foundation too and the results have been good. The foundation glides on very easily on this primer and lasts for a longer time. It also decreases the oil secretion on my T-zone.
Overall, it’s a great primer for the price. It does not break me out either and the packaging is travel friendly.
I would give it a 4/5.
