Tabby thinks her biggest problem is picking out the wedding dress and refining the dinner menu. Chris begs to differ. He thinks her biggest problem is convincing his wealthy grandfather that she is perfect for the family or he risks losing a big fat inheritance.

Convincing his grandfather turns out to be more complicated than she anticipates. For one, he wants her to seek the blessings of his spiritual adviser. The trouble is . . . his adviser lives in India.

My Review –

The story starts with Tabby, who is young with a heart of gold. She is just a little unfortunate in life. Unfortunate to an extent that when her boyfriend proposes her she even eats the ring which was hidden in the muffin.

Her boyfriend Chris is from a wealthy Indian family. Tabby meet Chris’s sister Maya and starts to learn about Indian culture. She meets the family and is told by the grandfather that she should seek blessings from his guru In India. The entire family starts the journey to India.

She reaches India and starts to experience India and its culture. A few accidents make your laugh. Tabby’s character is so beautifully described that you will fall in love with her. She is clumsy, funny and yet gets disturbed when she sees people suffering.

After reaching India she realizes that her fiancé Chris has a different story. He seems to love her just the way she is, but soon we find out that his grandfather’s money are more important to him. Tabby soon starts to feel that she doesn’t love him and is attracted to someone else.

The story is about Tabby finding true love. Will she find the man of her dreams? Will she find true love is for you to read and find out.

This is a book that you can read in a day. Its just like chai latte, really light and spicy romance that will totally lift your spirits.
