What Maybelline says:
Color Sensational presents the NEW Rebel Bouquet collection. A burst of rebellious color!
Super-saturated pigments give fresh-picked pastels a bright kick. Sumptuous feel and enriched with honey nectar. 6 vivacious shades.
Packaging is very similar to the Maybelline Color sensation lipsticks. It has a bright red cap with a silver tube, the combination looks very beautiful. The seal has a floral print with Rebel written on it. When I bought this lipstick I thought that the same will be on the tube but alas, it was just the seal. The color number is mentioned on the sticker like most of the lipsticks.
The texture is really creamy when you apply. It’s highly pigmented. Even though the color is really nude pink the lipstick covered most of my lip pigment in one application.
It does not have any taste or smell to it. I feel that they could have added a floral scent to the lipstick.
What I really did not like about the lipstick is the staying power. It did not stay for more than 2 hours on my lips. A big reason to that is that the product transfers a lot (which personally I completely hate. You do not want to leave your mark behind everywhere you go). Also, when it fades it did not fade evenly. It gets flaky which looks really bad. Also for around an hour my lips felt really dry.
It’s a good everyday color which you can wear to work. It’s a color which is your lips but better type of color, something I know I will use a lot.I loved most of the colors but I knew I will get the most use of this color and so I had to buy it.
I like the lipstick but don’t really love it. I feel Maybelline can do a better job, especially with staying power.
I would give it a 3/5.
