Today I will be reviewing the Organix Brazilian Keratin Therapy Hydrating Hair Masque. My hair is really frizzy. I have an oily scalp but from mid length to end my hair is really dry and frizzy. I’ always looking for something that will take away the frizz.
This masque was the second product from Organix. I also have the Organix Moroccan Argan Oil Renewing Penetrating Oil which I love.
A creamy blend of cocoa butter and keratin proteins drench each strand with moisture while avocado oil and coconut oil reduce frizz and illuminating shine and long-lasting smoothness.
It is priced at Rs. 745 for 237 ml.
This comes in a chocolate colored tub and a dark golden lid. The tub is sturdy and travel friendly. The masque is of chocolate color. It has a smooth consistency. It spreads on wet hair easily. What I did not really like is how it smells. It’s a little too sweet for my linking. It smells somewhat like butterscotch ice cream, which is too sweet for me. I can ignore the smell as the product does wonders for my hair.
Instructions say that you must keep it on towel-dried and shampooed hair for 5 minutes; however, I like to bend the rules. I keep it on towel dry hair for 15 to 20 mins. I like to spread the product evenly on the hair and comb through my hair so that the product spreads evenly. I like to then wash my hair with cold water.
The softness doesn’t turn up right while the hair is drying up, but after a few hours, hair is visibly straighter, manageable, less frizzy, and with a healthy shine.
I would not say that it makes my wavy hair straight, but it does make it more manageable and moisturized. I have noticed that the results almost last for 2 to 3 weeks. I do the same process every 3 weeks and since I have started using this product I have seen that the healthy shine has returned and my hair looks less damaged.
I would give it a 4.8/5. The only thing that I do not like is the smell.
