Palladio Herbal Lipstick in Rosey Plum Review

As temperature is going higher every day, I’m wearing less and less makeup. Days I’m at home there is nothing on my skin other than splashes of rose water. On days when I have to go to work, I just wear my MAC studio fix and a tinted lip balm or a moisturizing lipstick.

As we are talking of lipstick, I will be reviewing an herbal lipstick today. Anything natural and herbal always catch my eye.

With luxurious moisture and pigment, this electrifying formula comes in 33 high-fashion shades that are sure to make heads turn. Full-coverage properties keep color in place for hours without drying the lips.

Let’s start with the packaging. The lipstick comes in a sliver color packaging. The cap closes tight, hence, making it easy to travel with or to keep in your handbag. They could have done better with packaging. The quality is not really great.

The color is a brown pink with gold shimmer in it. It’s a very everyday casual color. It will look good on fair to wheatish skin tones. Girls with a little darker skin tone will look washed out.

The texture is smooth and easy to apply. It’s not really highly moisturizing lipstick but at the same time it doesn’t dry out the lips as well. Pigmentation is fine.

It doesn’t stay for more than 2 hrs without eating. With a little eating it’s really not visible. You have to keep reapplying the product.

Overall is an average lipstick. I feel that the price is a little steep (approximately Rs. 1500) for the quality. It has a weird smell, I’m really not sure what it smells like.

I would give it a 2/5.
