Undelivered Letters by J. Alchem – Book Review

Today I will review a short book written by J. Alchem called Undelivered Letters. I find myself really lucky that I read this book. It is a book that leaves a lasting impression on the reader.

Blurb –

Aron, a postman with Marioson Postal Service, found an abandoned bag. It had

a few letters that were supposed to be delivered – 20 years ago. He had a choice,

either to deliver them now, or abandon them forever. He chooses the former.

What were these letters all about?

Who wrote them?

Who are the recipients?

Do these letters still carry a value, after 20 years?

My Review –

It is a combination of various stories that are connect seamlessly with one character.

Aron was a postman 20 years ago when he started his carrier. He falls in love and gets married, life was going well till he discovered a bag full of undelivered letters. He had forgotten to deliver those letters to the recipients. He decides to go back to those addresses and deliver the letters which were sent 20 years back.

The book has heart touching stories of the recipients of those undelivered letters. All the stories are really heartfelt and emotional. The characters feel real and there is an instant connection.

I was completely hooked on to the book. The language is simple and the stories flow easily.

In short, the book is a complete emotional roller-coaster.

I would recommend the book to everyone. Maybe you would want to write a letter (which in todays world is unheard of) to someone.

I totally loved it and would rate it a 5/5.

Thanks to Priyanka for finding me on Goodreads and sending it to me for an honest review.
